WHAT: 134 car windows shot out and damaged
During the late night hours on 2/20-2/21/12 unknown suspect(s) shot out car windows with what appears to be a BB/pellet gun. This occurred in several jurisdictions through out Salt Lake County. We have very little suspect information in this investigation. The Unified Police Department is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in this case. All the jurisdictions involved are working together to catch the suspect(s).

Midvale-At about 7:13 a.m. the Unified Police Department was called to 123 E. 6790 S. in Midvale on a wanted person. Officers had been searching for John Tedrow as he has a felony warrant for his arrest. Officers received a tip that he was at this address. When officers arrived they found Tedrow and took him into custody with out incident.
While officers were at the residence they noticed what appeared to be stolen property. Officers obtained consent from the owner to search the property and uncovered approximately $25,000 in stolen property. The recovered property ranges from electronics, computers, laptops, and golf clubs. This property was identified as having been stolen during three different business burglaries and several residential burglaries.
Tedrow will be booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on his outstanding warrant and felony possession of stolen property. Investigators are still working to identify all the burglaries associated with the property.

33 pounds of Marijuana and 40 vials of Steroids were seized during the service of a no-knock search warrant in Sandy. UPD SWAT served the warrant for UPD Narcotics with assistance from the K9 Unit.
The UPD Millcreek Precinct is accepting donations of new, warm clothing, food, cash donations and gift items to be given to families in need in the community.

Metro Gang Unit (MGU) detectives arrested a suspect wanted for questioning in a recent Millcreek homicide. As a result of the arrest a warrant was served in which drug paraphernalia, check forgery items, and stolen property were recovered.
Methamphetamines, Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized during the service of a no-knock search warrant in Riverton. UPD SWAT served the no-knock warrant and arrested a suspect at the location. This was the third time the residence has been served this year.
UPD and Sandy PD served a search warrant in Murray and jointly recovered over $12,000 in stolen property including a Harley Davidson Motor Cycle and motorized go carts.
The UPD hosted a launch event for their partnership with Vickie Walker's Circle the Wagons Wednesday at the Sheriff's Office Building. Circle the Wagons is a non-profit organization that offers support to the victims of violent crimes and their families. Included in the Circle the Wagons program is a small tin containing a 96-hour survival guide listing various resources and lemon drops.
