UPD Announces Police Officer Recruitment - November 2014

The Unified Police Department is conducting a recruitment for Police Officers. UPD Police Officers perform a wide variety of police functions, including but not limited to: Crime repression, crime prevention, protection of personal liberties, and service to the citizens of Herriman, Holladay, Kearns, Magna, Midvale, Millcreek, Riverton, Taylorsville, and the unincorporated areas of Salt Lake County. Officers work a variety of hours including day, afternoon, or graveyard shifts, holidays, and weekends.

UPD Releases New Most Wanted Suspect Information - 10/31/14

The Unified Police Department has released its new Most Wanted suspect information- On 10/17/14 a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali, grey in color, was stolen at an address in Herriman. The vehicle has a Utah license plate 217VYS. Shortly after the vehicle was stolen, the suspects went to Harmon’s in Taylorsville and Home Depot in Cottonwood Heights and made purchases with a stolen credit card.
