Reserve Officer Program

The position of Reserve Officer is a volunteer position. The UPD will provide uniforms and equipment. Reserve Officers are required to complete a field training program during the first six months and then work at least two 10-hour shifts a month.

Requirement: Attended the Law Enforcement Academy (POST) and currently certified or certifiable as a Special Function Officer or Law Enforcement Officer in Utah.
