K-2 Officer observed three sets of footprints in the rapidly falling snow, going south on Impressions Drive. The footprints would go to each car parked on the street and up into several driveways to the cars parked in them. He followed the prints on foot. He caught up with three suspects on Rockford Street and when challenged, one of the suspects stopped but the other two fled. Responding officers followed the tracks into a yard on Leprechaun Lane, where the two tried unsuccessfully to hide. Officers took them into custody. They had property from at least 2 victims with them. The cars they entered, on Impressions, Loder, Honeysuckle and Vista Point, had been left unlocked and the contents rifled through.
