Louise, age 18, worked at the Taco Time restaurant at 4054 W. 5415 S. in Kearns. She left work at approximately 5:10 pm on July 24, 1979 and went to her truck in the parking lot. Employees witnessed a man with a ski-mask pulled over his face run past the drive-through window toward the location where Louise’s truck was parked. When she entered her vehicle the masked gunman approached and opened fire. He then fled the scene. Louise died as a result of the injuries.
