About this case:

Flora, age 71, was a widow that lived alone.  She was last seen by workers talking with a friend on the front porch of her home at 3518 S. 300 W. at approximately 5:00pm on the afternoon of October 19, 1989.  Her nude body was discovered in her apartment on the afternoon of October 22, 1989 by concerned relatives that had not been able to contact her.  Flora’s cause of death was determined to be multiple stab wounds. There was forced entry to the home and the phone lines outside had been disabled.  There were also indications that Flora struggled with her assailant(s).
